The long, unglamorous part

Community programmes, family intervention, and advocacy. Most of it is not a breakthrough — it is showing up on the same road, week after week, until something shifts.

The conviction underneath all of this is one sentence long: every person is divine, and the separateness we feel is the illusion. Act as though that were true and charity stops being something you hand down to someone.

I serve as managing trustee of the Swami Vivekananda Indian Revival Movement. India has, time and again, been set right by people who insisted on that idea and then did something about it — the work here is a small attempt to keep doing so.

An NGO built around a single conviction of Swami Vivekananda's — the divinity of every person, and the oneness underneath all of it. I serve as managing trustee.
