The long version
Four kinds of work that look unrelated on a business card, and are not.
I am an aspirant of knowledge, with an interest in philosophy, business, and philanthropy. Of everything I have come across, the most elevating has been the thought of the divinity of man and universal oneness — taught by the scriptures, and put to the modern world by Swami Vivekananda in the nineteenth century.
I am an engineering graduate. I run Karthavya IT Solutions, a small business providing services in the IT sector, and I am managing trustee of the Swami Vivekananda Indian Revival Movement. I write, I counsel, and I build — and contributing to world peace is one of my main objectives.
In 2020 I compiled and published Be One with God, a volume of Swami Vivekananda's wisdom, and learnt the whole trade of publishing on the way — typesetting, cover, print, listing, packing, dispatch. In 2025 I released Bhasaka, a mantra and bhajan app built on the principle that an app should take nothing from the person using it.

How I work
Four things I keep coming back to
Not a method — closer to a set of commitments that hold across the counselling room, the field, and the codebase.

Every person is divine
The idea I keep returning to, and the one Swami Vivekananda put at the centre of everything. It is not a sentiment — it changes how you treat the person in front of you, whoever they are.

Take nothing you do not need
Bhasaka collects no data because it has no reason to. The same restraint belongs in a counselling record and in a donor list. Collecting less is a form of respect.

Compile before you compose
I did not write Be One with God. I asked what was already there that too few people were reading, and made it easier to reach. That is usually the more useful question.

Finish the marathon
Publishing that book took nine months of typesetting, proofing, printing, listing, packing, and dispatch — mostly alone. Most worthwhile things are long rather than hard.
